I borrowed my friends I-roast-2 this week and while cleaning it thorughly after a few days of use, I noticed the glass had a parting line (vertical) in front of the handle. This cannot be normal, though at first glance I thought it may have been. So I am assuming the glass is broken and I have to get a replacement glass. Is this possible? and how or where shuold I look? The unit is basically brand new and under warantee, but unfortunately I cannot get the warantee info because the owner is out of the country for several weeks. HELP!

I, like a thousand others probably, had an I-Roast 2 that stopped working within a year. I moved on to a bread machine and heat gun. You pay the shipping and I'll send the top part to you as thanks to the forum for all the excellent info I've obtained in the past. I definitely have parts 2-5 (from https://www.i-roast.com/pro_02.php) and can probably find the part 1.
If you don't want it it's available to anyone else who may need it.

Don't mean to necropost, but anyone still have parts? I have an I-Roast 2 that works except that I broke the glass roasting pot, and can't replace it from the manufacturer as this product is discontinued...
They haven't been selling them for at least three or four years - maybe more. Too bad. For the money it was a good starter machine for the masses. Maybe look for one on the 'bay, but I doubt you will find one. they are even renting out studio time at their production facility: http://www.hearthware.com/studio.asp
For the money, get a heat gun and a used bread machine, and/or check out homeroasters.org.
