Last week my almost 5-year old Behmor 1600 up and died after doing a roast. An email with questions soon had a new circuit board and motor heading my way.
That's normal stuff.
When I replaced the circuit board and motor, I got Err 6 after 12-15 seconds of running.
I emailed Joe, who took valuable time from his uber-busy life right now (think Brazen coffee-maker production), who asked a few questions. It turned out that one plastic connector had been turned upside down by me, even with the many photos I took before starting the replacement.
With that, the Behmor is now working and acting much more like a new machine (the new motor is smooooooth sounding).
He could have sent me to his tech department with all the "stuff" going on in his life now, but stuck around to make sure things were correct.
Yeah, I can be a klutz, but Joe once again showed why his company is worth doing business with.

I'm a fan of Joe's too. I've been remiss for a long time in not praising his service. Several years ago my used Behmor bought from SM stopped working not long after I bought it. Behmor service had me ship the unit to Joe and it was fixed with no charge and shipped back to me again with no charge, even for shipping. It has been working like a champ ever since. Behmor is tops!

I had my first problem with my 17 month old Behmor last week. I emailed at about 6:00 am (I roast early). They responded with troubleshooting tips almost immediately and later offered to ship a replacement part that same day at no charge.
The highest praise I can think of is to favorably compare them to Baratza.
Both of these companies are the absolute best. I wish I had more counter space just so I had room to buy more of their stuff.
