As the topic says, this video of first crack is one of the things I've been meaning to do but haven't had time.  This is one of the coolest things I've seen recently regarding home roasting:

love the "this is not a roasting tutorial" disclaimer. i can see people trying out a new 5 bean at a time roasting technique.
