I'm still using the Behmor I bought when they first went on sale. Far enough into the distant past that I don't remember when that was. I'll replace it when the lamps burn out--I suspect that by then other bits will be close to MTBF as well.

Is it true that these things (any roaster) have a service life of only a few years? seems a bit low.
