Noting that my usual supplier, Sweet Maria, was out of Guatemalan offerings--as are many suppliers this time of the year--I ordered some Huehuetenango Finca Vista Hermosa (and some Indian Mysore, which I had never tried) from Burman Coffee Traders. I had never used them before. Good prices, fast shipping, and best of all, excellent coffee. The Huehue is as good as any I've ever roasted, and the Indian is superb as well.
If you haven't ordered greens from them before, they are worth a visit.
Hey Scott, I agree. I order from Burman all the time. I don't know if you drink espresso or milk based drinks, but their espresso blend is GREAT! Give it a try.
I also enjoyed the Vista Hermosa except that the larger screen version had a few pieces of gravel in it. Just make sure to look out for stuff like that as with any green coffee.

Usually I'm sifting through the Harar and such! By the way, y'all might really enjoy the DP Mexican Nyarita. I've ordered 15 #'s already. It is a "poor man's" version of last year's Panama Elida DP. Lots of berry fruit. Roast city+, not too long in the yellowing stage.
It is seriously good coffee, and very fairly priced, IMO.
Burman's has been my "retail" supplier of choice for years. Great offerings, excellent and fast service, quality greens. Jon and Co. do a wonderful job! Also happens to be where I got my Behmor from, some 450+ roasts ago...

Agree. The Terruno Nayarita is an excellent coffee for light to medium roasts. I have been using it and it's sister, Nayarit Malinal, for several years with excellent results. It is also a good component in blends in my experience.

Makes for good SO espresso too! I could taste lots of candy green apple and carmel in it. I bought some Maui natural peaberry the other year from them and its some of the best coffee I've ever tasted plus it works well in all different roasts, its just hard to hear and decipher 1st crack.
