Since I didnt get any replys I decided to take a chance and ordered 16/lb. was only going to order 5/lb of various greens till I saw how they were, but liked the cupping notes on too many of the varietals.

I've ordered from them.  They're reliable and have good service.  They're also the only place I know of to get the Australian beans.  I also have ordered from Burman Coffee and liked those beans better overall, but the shipping costs pretty much kill the deal for me.  I pretty much only order from Happy Mug Coffee these days.  You can't beat flat shipping and the under-$5/lb coffees.

Thanks for the reply and the great TIP on Happy Mug Coffee . I like that they have reviews for certain crops from ken and davids coffee review and also it's  located in PA. I think my next order I will be trying happy mug also.

The Captain is located the next town over from me - he gets decent recommendations from locals I know who buy beans there, but I personally have not done so but I likely will since local pick up is a service offered.

I chew coffee beans with my teeth while gargling with 195 F water to enjoy coffee. What is this "coffee brewing" device you speak of?

Roasted the Ethiopia, Adulina Harrar that I got from the captains last night,1/2 lb on p2 with the behmor. I couldnt wait and had to do a shot tonight.mmmmmmmmmmmmgood, also sent a 6oz sample of png along with my order

UPDATE:  I had one of the best tasting latte's I've ever had (must have nailed the roast) The  Ethiopia, Adulina Harrar on day 2 taken to a light full city + WOW,Sweet Blueberry,Sweet Prune,Caramel,Mocha Chocolate,Salted Cashew in that order, all very distinct. What  more could you want from a coffee.
