Anyone tried out this roaster? Looks pretty interesting. Seems pretty easy to modify as well.

Interesting.  It seems to be made in Taiwan.  8 ounce roasting capacity.

There's no price shown on the website, but with all that stainless, it's got to be expensive.

I've seen pics of this one, it looks pretty cool!
I believe the cost is comparable to a plain-jane HotTop roaster.

Interesting design for bean cooling.

Best part: Click Here (www.ecplaza.net)

- Packaging : cartoon

Next best:

operating as easy as cooking instant noodles

I love cartoons and instant noodles, so this must be the coffee roaster for me!

(seriously though, any US dealers?  I'm in the market for a new roaster, but some type of support network is highly desirable, unless these are so cheap I can afford to just buy three up front.)

Yes, the instant noodle comparison sealed the deal for me :D There is a guy at HB who claims he's already ordered one. Paid $970 shipping included to Europe.

The design isn't too bad other than reminding me of one of those hamster wheels, but I think it could be modified to change that and add a few more details such as a tryer and temp probe.  It would be tough to choose between this and a Hottop if the prices aren't much different.  Not sure what kind of support you'd get with the M3.

I read on another site that an European buyer had one shipped from Taiwan to Germany.  The cost delivered was just under $1000 USD.
