Thanks I am going to try that next. I wasnt happy with the JBM with P3. Are you using 1/2 pound of green beans?

No, I'm doing a pound, but I don't have any power issues here.  I've nearly always been able to roast a pound just fine (except when it's been extremely cold).  I'm also a garage roaster.

I should mention that this (roasting a lb) does take all 25:30 of the roasting cycle so there's no room for error or low wattage.  My FC usually starts with 5:30-5:00 (or thereabouts) left on the roast and my 2nd crack will just show the beginning signs anywhere in the last 2-1 min. (I push cool at the very first signs of 2nd crack)

20 minute first seems real long, I cant say if that is good or bad. But it all get down to how you like it. I good JBM has alway had notes of grapefruit, kinda of dry and no aftertaste.

I would definitely say it was long if it was doing that on P1 or P2 but since P5 doesn't get up to full power until about 12 or 13 min into the roast cycle, I don't think it is.  But maybe that's just me.  LOL.  I really enjoy the island coffees roasted that way.

Now I just did some JBM 6oz 1-P3-C (- to 20 minutes) on friday, and at around 6:45 remaing I got 1st crack and 3 minutes after that (3:45r) I get second starting, which 3 minutes between 1st and second seems good and was right on the money two times. I'll have results tomorrow.

Ok I have tasted it for three days now, today seems the best so far. I roasted last friday, so it has a 6 day rest. Just about there, I do like the 1-P3-C better for this bean, I'll try roasting Kona tonight.
