I took a large plastic tray, cut the bottom out of it and glued on some window screening. I shake the tray around a little over a large fan. I'm cooling a pound of beans in less than a minute (in Phoenix). I think having a flat bottom to disperse the beans is key. Using the colanders was taking me too long and I was resorting to heavy water spritzing.
