Hello gang,
Well I am looking to get at least a one pound roaster. I am debating between the Behmor and a Java Pro CRC 2lb or 5lb roaster. I am looking for input from users of both models. I have contacted the seller and creator of the Java Pro and he has answered tons of questions (thanks Len) but I am looking for testimonials of people that own the unit. I am going to be roasting approx 15-30 lbs a month and need something that has good ventilation (java pro has an exhaust tubing to go outside). I am leaning towards the Java but want to hear testimonies pro or con before I make this big purchase.

I don't know anything about the Java Pro but as a Behmor user I don't think it could keep up with 15 to 30lbs a month for an extended period of time. It's meant to be a home roaster and that volume is way beyond the average home roaster.

Another Bimmer owner here, and I agree with Brad. I can roast 15-30 lbs month, but if I were NEEDING to do it, I would want more than one Bimmer. It's concievable you could buy one, roast about 15 lbs/month, and when demand grows, add another, then another..spreading the usage among the multiple units (keep a log!!), but ultimately the JavaPro is designed for more volume from the get-go, so that's what I would do.
