Hey coffee enthusiast! I have some friends that like the Hawaiian Kona Blend but I would much rather do something on my own (they don't understand it is not really Hawaiian Kona - only about 10% kona coffee in that particular blend).
I know Costa Rican coffee should be part of the blend, I was toying with 2/3 Costa Rican 1/3 Brazilian? Any suggestions I would appreciate it.

I guess the question is are you going to call your blend "Hawaiian Kona Blend". I personally believe that perpetuating the myth that most consumers believe the blend is mostly Kona is disingenuous. Why not come up with your own blend and provide it a unique name to reflect your company or personality?

No I am not going to call mine a Hawaiian Kona Blend...I didn't communicate my question right I guess. They are looking for something that taste similar...with that in mind I'm going to use a Costa Rican coffee and perhanps a Brazilian... I agree with you...naming it a blend is "cheap" to say the least.
