Well I got a gift certificate at work for Target and ended up with a coffee roaster. Ive been roasting Sweet Marias Monkey roast and am having such a great time. I realize its not an expsensive roaster but I sure have been having a blast and getting some good roasts.I watch the coffee come off the roast and degas until it hits its stride. You know when I look back over these last few months my coffee esperiences have really taken some wild leaps and bounds. I was doing ok with the Capresso 500 and Kitchen Aide Pro when the espresso bug got me. Went in and out of the Breville 800 in a month( what a joke that thing was) and  went Gaggia Classic and MDF grinder. Wow..am I happy now...I cant imagine unfresh beans now. So does this mean that in a few years I will have a Quickmill...and high price roaster and a grinder. Anyways  all I can say is " RIGHT ON"  to what people write here about good coffee and espresso. Thanks again...and again...

I also am using the Kitchen Aid Pro grinder. I've been happy with it, but I have only been drinking french press.

How would you compare it with your new grinder? I haven't seen much discussion about it (the K-A).

The MDF grinds better for espresso. The Kitchen Aid Pro isnt a grinder I would use for espresso although for other uses ts fine.Im sure others use it but the MDF Gaggia grinds finer ,more uniformly and offers 32 settings where as the Kitchen Aid has 8. Im sure there are people using them but like people say here, for espresso the grinder is key when it comes to making good shots.
