no... chuffed has nothing to do with bean chaf, I think it's more like Brit-speak for the American word "stoked". After an initial under-roasted disaster I was convinced my beans were bad or the process was beyond me but after the second roast turned out so well - I'm totally chuffed! My wife preferred the americano made with my roasted beans over the one I made with "fresh" beans from a local artisan roaster!! Now I'm convinced... the green beans you buy online are every bit as good (or better) than the local roasters sell. What everyone says about roasting your own is really true! It's not that hard and it is WAY better ... WooHoo !!! :-)
