Not one, but two Galloping Gourmet Ovens still in box. One looks kinda used, other is still factory sealed. Only $5 each !!!!
....and, while not exactly roasting equipment.....a Chemex electric warming plate. I've never seen anything about these before, but it too is in the original box. Inspection tag on bottom has a 2000 date on it. Another $5, and it was mine.
Thanks for letting me vent my excitement here, as my kids think I'm nuts!

I have found persistence certainly pays off in regards to thrift store finds. I go for weeks, months it seems at times not finding one interesting coffee related item....then bang! all sorts of goodies (usually when I have no extra cash on hand). I probably have 5 or 6 TO's now of various makes...last one was a Betty Crocker NIB, again for 5 bucks....I have a few odd balls that turned out to be duds. Funny thing is I have not ever seen a Sunpentown, which seems to be the popular one on these boards.
...another find I thought was odd, was a box with 5 or six boxes of unopened Chemex filters....for 50 cent no less !!!! I won't need filters for the rest of my days !!!
Keep looking....the goods do turn up...when you least expect them !
