A cup of coffee looks good in the morning. You won't fall asleep after a cup of coffee. You can always warm coffee up. Coffee comes with endless refills. You won't get arrested for ordering coffee at 3 AM. Coffee is out of your system by tomorrow morning. You can make coffee as sweet as you want. Coffee smells and tastes good. You can turn the pot on, leave the room, and it'll be hot when you get back. They have coffee at police stations. You can always ditch a bad cup of coffee. No matter how ugly you are, you can always get a cup of coffee. A big cup or small cup? It doesn't matter. You can have an intelligent conversation with coffee. Coffee is ready in 15 minutes or less. Coffee doesn't take up half your bed. Coffee doesn't mind if you wake up at 3 AM and decide to have a cup. INSTANT COFFEE!

Come on now.  There has got to be a pretty, intelligent, and charming Scottish-Irish lass out there to dispel your above message.  I married one.

Okay.  I'm not what you'd ordinarily call a feminist, nor easily offended, but I am hungry, Irish, AND screwed up the milk foaming again this morning, so I'm going to go ahead and say that I have some problems with this.

  1. What is it doing in the Espresso Machines section?  (This is actually my biggest problem with it, as things being posted in the wrong sections is a pet peeve of mine and one that seems to happen more here than in other forums I frequent, without correction.)

  2. Do I really need to say it?  Do I?  Oh, very well then:  EW.

Why women are better than Coffee:

1 -  A cappuccino lasts maybe five minutes. I've been married for 37 years.

2 -  When bitterness appears in a woman it usually can be easily dealt with and disappears quickly without lingering... if you know what you are doing.

3 -  A good woman can make a delicious cup of coffee... it doesn't work the other way round.

4 - You're sitting around, alone on a Saturday night. Two friends show up... one offers you a cup of coffee, the other offers you a date with a woman....  Which would YOU choose!?

5 - Go ahead... French kiss a cup of coffee!

6 - Has a cup of coffee ever shown delight upon your return home and given you a big hug?

7 - Which can you do without longer?

8 -  If you choose wisely, it doesn't  burn when you put that certain part of the male anatomy into a
woman.

NEXT WEEK - Why a woman is better than a harmonica.....
