The reduced birth rate in European countries correlates with the decline of the White Stork population. So it's true after all: the storks deliver babies! ;-)

I've some bad news for you....breathing also causes death. Honest, 100% of people who breath, die! Don't believe me, ask anyone. I am also very suspicious of water....everyone, absolutely everyone, I knew who died drank the stuff, I'm convinced there's something going on there. ;-)

Me, I'm now off to the pig washing centre!

Asking people on a coffee website if coffee has been harmful to them is an example of selection bias.

If coffee actually killed coffee drinkers those people wouldn't post on this thread.
If it's harming current drinkers in a long-term way this may not be apparent even to them.

Go search for a pipe smoker's web forum and find a thread on health effects.
I'll bet those guys paint a pretty rosy picture of pipe smoking!

You'd get a more even sense of the risks/benefits if you read some of the literature.

The only time coffee has effected me health wise, is when I dont clean up the grounds from my coffee bar, my wife threatens to kill me.  Other than that, I really enjoy the stuff.

+1.  That was good.

The mortality rate of life itself is 100%! The only way to avoid death is not being born. ;-)
