Not sure if there is already a thread on this, but i was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a book or information source of some kind that lists all the different coffee plant species that a grown!
We usually heard about Arabica and Robusta, but these are only most grown species. Actually, there are more than 70 species known including Arabica which has more than 150 species and subspecies. To know all the species, you can read the book compiled by Raimond Feil entitled “Coffee by Raimond Feil 2011”. Try to get information about this at www.scribd.com/doc/61317434/Coffea-Genus-species-varieties.
Did you know...? Dark roast coffees actually have less caffeine than lighter roasts due to the fact that the process of roasting burns off caffeine. www.coffeeloversmag.com/theMagazine
