I'm curious as to what the essential library of a coffee geek contains. I'm interested in brew methods, espresso, and roasting, so pretty much the gamut of coffee for a home enthusiast. I'm aware of some books held in high esteem. Now I'm interested in what particular users on this forum choose, and how they rank.

Some Coffee Geek members might be interested in a book for which I am senior editor; it's Coffee: A Comprehensive Guide to the Bean, the Beverage, and the Industry, from Rowman and Littlefield. It's available at all the standard sellers, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc. Contributors are from all over the world. They cover a wide variety of topics, e.g. where does the money go, what is organic, certified coffee, how is coffee grown and processed, roasting, producing and consuming country profiles, and more.
