Part of my job is running the inventory and stock checks at the restaurant. Today my boss has asked me to keep a sharper eye on our milk and beans usage for coffee, and to keep the info in a spreadsheet to be filled monthly.
The question is: how do other cafes and coffee shops track their milk and bean usage in a by-the-cup way? I find it a bit of a challenge; particularly as we have iced coffees and a second, less...committed barista. I suppose I am looking for the easiest way to manage this, as I will then need to help the other outlet standardise their processes too.
