I roasted a 12 ounce batch on Saturday. This time I used P3 on the 1 lb setting. I took 6 minutes off before the start of the roast, then added the time back in later in the roast. It took a little too long to reach 1c (approx. 14 min). However, the overall taste is improved from the roasts on the P2 setting. It definitely has a fuller flavor (more body?) and less acidity. Although the acidity is probably attributed more to the level of roast. Still having a blast!
what coffee varital was it? harder coffees need more heat. I would try dropping dose to 10 oz and or with harder (anything over 4000 ft) on p3. ajust/lower time after pressing start, and add time back at end of roast for a prologed 100% power faze. any time added after start will cut other roast legs shorter and add to last leg.

I am currently roasting a Brazilian Bob-o-link. Did you mean to adjust the time before starting the roast? It was my understanding that, if I adjusted the time before the start of the roast, it would adjust the time equally on all legs. If I reduce the time before the start, then I should get to the 100% power phase sooner, right? Just trying to figure this thing out.
