I visited this way far out of the way place in the world recently (think: a certain Bugs Bunny cartoon character) and bought a bag of coffee roasted locally. They don't grow coffee there. I can buy great roasted coffee at home, right here where I live, or mailed from all over the USA. But I bought a bag of the locally roasted stuff anyways, kind of as a souvenir.
Turns out it's freaking wonderful coffee. And even with the not so great exchange rate it was priced reasonably. I wish I'd bought more of it! I'm almost out.
It's fun being a tourist. It's even more fun being a coffee tourist.
