There was a post like this a few months ago. Unfortunately, I don't think the inquirer gathered much useful information here, but you might be able to find it with the search tool to verify.

I'd also suggest he peruse online vendors who sell such devices...easily googled. He'll get an idea what's hot/new/most popular, etc.
EDIT: none of the companies he'll find would be in business if there was not a market substantial enough. That said, I'll wager it's the PROFESSIONAL coffee shops, cafe's etc who do the majority of accessory purchase, as they wear out stuff MUCH faster than would a home barista.
