Hey all,
I had to share a coffee experience I had this past weekend in Las Vegas, NV. My wife and I went to Gordon Ramsay Steak for dinner (recently opened at the Paris casino). Coffee choices with dessert were french press or espresso. I have never had french press in a restaurant so I had to go for it, and I'm glad I did. It was a neat experience to know it was freshly brewed for me and pressed at the table.
Also, the pot came with "A B C spoons." These were metal spoons dipped in chocolate, and adhered to each was a chocolate liqueur: Amaretto, Baileys, and Chambord. Leave it in your cup and let the chocolate melt off the spoon, leaving a nice favored coffee.
I will admit that the grind was too fine so there was more silt in the bottom of my cup than I get at home, and I mentioned it to the waiter (not to get anything for it, just so hopefully they fix it!). He said that since they were a new restaurant appreciated the feedback. I hope that was sincere! I feel like Gordon Ramsay would have cursed me out of his restaurant though! :P

We have a local restaurant that does the local foods scene and they do locally roasted french pressed coffee. I admit first time I had it, it was a big surprise.
