I'd recommend trying Sweet Maria's weekly roasted coffees sometime.  They're not too expensive and the ones I had were always great:

You can even order the same coffee green/raw and roast it yourself to compare with their pro-roasted version.

I would recommend:

Intelligentsia
Novo
Ecco

I love the Dark Roast (El Diablo) from Intelligentsia, but all three have great coffee for all taste palates.

I like Klatch as they are close to me and I LOVE Coffee Klatch Belle Espresso and Coffee Klatch WBC "World's Best" Espresso, either would be a great choice.
