I was just perusing my library of coffee books, and was curious to know if anybody has the lastest editions of Kenneth Davids' books. I have both his "Espresso: Ultimate Coffee" (1993) and "Coffee: A Guide..." (1987). Does anybody know what different in the most recent editions, and if it's worth updating my copies?
I'll definitely be buying his Home Roasting book in October, which is when a new edition is supposed to be coming out.
I don't know whether his new edition of the home roasting book will have significant new material but I'll sell you my copy dirt cheap - I bought it a few months ago and enjoyed it but there isn't anything in that I need as a long term reference material and I make it a point to keep books long term only if they are a reference source I'll use regularly (or if they have great pcitures that I enjoy looking at).
