These things look like they come straight out of an Alchemists lab. Is this a bit extreme in reality? I know it looks cool, but is it worth it? If anyone actually owns one of these and wants to break down the advantages, I would love to hear them. I think this falls into the category of really cool to read about, but not all that practical.
