Put it all in water in a bowl, and keep the bowl in a frige.

Need more places to do this. It's almost like coffee and a show if it is done right, and you are a bit of a pyro (even though no one uses fire anymore)

I grew up with this being how my aunt made coffee, on the stove, instead of a peculator (dates me huh?) She swore by it. I remember being totally facinated watching it.

It's on my list for next time I get a serious hard on to clean up space in my kitchen.

Now come teach the new localish guy how to do it right ;)
