another birthday has come and gone, and this year my schmoopy gave me three arabica coffee shoots. currently they're only about a foot tall, but after two weeks they've already shown new growth and are greedily soaking up the water. :}
i know that even if they bear fruit, the resulting roasts will probably never be very good given that my current elevation is about one hundred feet; still, a very neat gift idea for any coffee geek. hopefully they'll at least have some nice blossoms someday.
