$3,000 donated by Krups through their sponsorship of the event.
$11,812 (or more!) donated via our Silent Auction program. Huge props and kudos to the donating sponsors for these products (list below)
The total raised this year looks to be $27,647. This is almost triple what was raised in 2004.
Bill Fishbein from Coffee Kids says he thinks this is the second largest fundraising effort the organization has ever had.
My sincere thanks to everyone who made direct donations, or bid on products in the Silent Auctions. An especially big thanks to those of you who donated more than your bid amounts! (and there's at least a few of you!).
Here are the generous sponsors of products for the Silent Auctions. It's important for the readers of this website to know that unlike making a direct donation, there's no real benefit or tax savings for these vendors and suppliers to do this. They gave up their time, or a product they paid money for, or the fruits of their labour, or in one case an all expenses paid trip, all because it was a good cause and because they wanted to help out. I hope you consider their generosity the next time you're looking for any products or services related to coffee and espresso.
