Was just doing a google search on this brewer and this post came up, not sure why my friend picked this model, but personally I'm hesitant about automatic brewers over a manual carafe. What's the real advantage besides convenience? Or is that it?

At the first look, I supposed that it was about a coffee brewer with grinder, super-auto. When I was reading through the article, I did not see about the brewing temperature adjustment or similar. Was that only about brewing temperature testing or so? Anyway, it seems that I am looking for something else.
