Great First Look. Any update on the Detailed Review? Also, I thought you'd like to know that the link to the Gaggia Guide at WLL is broken. Here's the new link:

Hi Mark,
Just wanted to let you know I'm really enjoying your reviews as I'm making a decision on what to buy within the next few days. I'm locked up. I think I've narrowed down to the consideration of one of the Gaggia machines...like the Classic versus the Solis SL70. Up in the Machines and Grinders forum I've posted a thread titled Frankenretro Classico. This was my second thread started in the quest for a new machine for my wifes Christmas present. My final evaluation is proving more difficult than I would have thought. I am using your detailed review of the SL70 up against the FR of the Classic. Any way you could pop in and help with my quest? I posted another long thread titled @Christmas Gift for my Wife. In any event..thanks for such a cool site.

Great review and I think it was spot on in terms of the good attributes and the bad attributes of the machine. I wish there was a detailed review but the First Look will surely give people some good info if they are considering buying a Classic.
