First, the X3 still can't really touch the Silvia, depending on the type of espresso-head you are. If you want convenience, then you shouldn't be buying a Silvia. The X3 is a possible machine for convenience seekers who want something that is beautiful.
Glenn, I don't think I'll be doing an X5 till at least next year,

I read somewhere that if the coffee beans are not ground well the crema will be affected. Is this true? You state in the review that the X-3 yields espresso with good crema.

Are you saying that when using the Solis Maestro the crema was pitiful - or that using the pods you had did not produce great crema? I need a good grinder and will get the Solis Maestro if it will do the trick. Please advise ASAP. Thanx

jost wondering, when did they start putting the X3 internals into the X1? what year? also, what would be the better choice, the X1 or Ascaso Dream? can't seem to find any X3's in my country.
I am looking for convenience, so I already ruled out a Silvia
