The last day at the Specialty Coffee Association of America Show in Minneapolis features some more interesting tidbits from the show floor, and reflections from the airplane ride home.

Baratza! I thought so, it looks quite similar to the burrset in the Virtuoso, except the mount is metal instead of the plastic in the Virtuoso. I stopped by the Baratza booth and very briefly talked to Kara. I said I had a Virtuoso grinder and had static issues, Kara gave me her card and told me to send her an e-mail. There was a good sized crowd swarming the booth. Day one is probaby not the best day to go to the SCAA show.

I am eager to find out more about the Vario grinder, but of course the proof will always be in the actual grind quality and not the marketing hype. Please be prepared to write up a first-look and an in-depth review when possible!

I'm struggling with the annual problem I always have with these reports - keep updating them today and tomorrow (all three days with their various news items), or do a "post show" fourth article with all the news I didn't post.
What are your thoughts? Should I update the three existing day reports, or do a new post show report with everything not currently typed in, well, typed into that article?

I agree, do a separate wrap-up article, so to avoid going through the previous articles again. Schwag? There was schwag and coffee samples? I guess I did not look hard enough. I am pretty excited about getting a Braista Guild shotglass...

I've been thinking about this all day (while I spent the day pouring over about 600 photographs), and thinking long term, it's probably best if I keep the posts intact to the time they happened.
How about this - I definitely have a wrap up article planned - some post show thoughts, editorial, etc. What I'll do is, over the next few days, update the three days until they're done (I did take about 100 pages of notepad notes with timestamps to slot things in) and then do my post show wrapup, announcing that the three days' reports are finished, and won't be updated again.
