Goodies have arrived! Aabree came through with flying colours! I had won the Bodum Antigua, but they called me a few of days ago and said that they had been having "problems" with the Bodum, and would I accept an upgrade! errrr... no problem for me :) The have been selling the Bodum for $60, and they substituted the Capresso Infinity, which they currently sell for $99.
My thanks to Mark and his crew for setting all this up, and to the people at Aabree for supplying such a worthwhile prize (and I was only third!)
My new Solis Maestro Plus (SMP) arrived yesterday! Thanks to Coffeegeek and to 1st line for the prize! The SMP is a nice looking machine, and will fit on my counter nicely. I plan on using it for drip and press coffee since Rocky has the espresso grinding duties. I've been traveling more than usual and had to head out early this morning, so I didn't have a chance to play with it yet... This weekend will be a good chance to try it out!
