I liked the article.
I am in total support of a guild and have made it known that I will host any barista jam in my roaster retailer shop here in Metro Atlanta GA anytime. There are not enough well trained pro baristas in my area and know that the profession needs a great forum and information resource.

It's great to hear more about the guild, that's for sure. I unfortunately am out of work CURRENTLY but it's a safe bet to assume I'll return to being a full time barista as soon as I can find work down here in Seattle :(
Can I still join, as I belive I submitted my information at the same time as Cheapdialogue and Duffy61 up in the replies above me (or, I hope I did, since they're my old boss and coworker, respectively, hehe).
I'm all about the guild and I'd be heartbroken if I had to leave it due to an unfortunate change in living situations! :(
