I talked about sample roasters with Terry at the Ambex booth as well. He mentioned that they have a 0.5 kg unit prototyped, but need to plan if/how they bring it to market. Their concern is home use - something that they are not set up to deal with both from a distribution and insurance point of view. Terry knows that there is a group of sophisticated home roasters that would be interested in a 1 pound gas-fired sample roaster and would start asking about it as soon as it was announced.

Hey Mark, Thanks for the nice write up. And thanks for being a coffee geek. What I mean is, it's great to have you do what you do do.
