1st time I've visited your site - one week after buying a Gaggia "Coffee" (at $400). Had a Rancilio Audrey for 8 years but got tired of the 15 min. warm up time & flogged it. Still have the 20y old Phillips which still makes good coffee (tank water in the high country)! Fascinating site you have - I'll visit before buying next time. Thanks.
Cycling between brew temperature and steam temperature takes a minute or so, therefore you would have to choose between frothing and trying to keep the foam from separating while pulling shots (swirl, swirl, thunk... swirl, swirl, thunk), or pulling all your shots and letting them sit for minutes until you're ready to froth. Members of this board regularly debate the merits of "froth or brew first?" Neither is an attractive option to me.
I limited service to three people (myself included) with Silvia and even then it was a chore. The inherent delay of a single-boiler is what prompted me to upgrade to a heat exchanger espresso machine.

Saying hello was my main reason for posting ... I can only (very humbly) agree with Dan with regard to the limits of single boiler machines for producing multiple milk-based drinks. I've used a Gaggia and not the Silvia, the former of which probably cycles faster while having less steaming potential. Four cappuccinos at a time on a regular basis would be rather frustrating.
Alan also posted an article, entitled "Coffee for Six," about preparing half a dozen drinks using a single boiler machine (in this case, it was the Imat/Quaha). It can be found both here and also reposted to CoffeeGeek here.
Good to ask again; a fair amount of time has since elapsed.
