A nice intro, Jim. (the others as well). Thanks. I have an Iso Tea with the yellow top p-stat. There's a screw in the center of the top and another screw off to the side. The one at the side appears to have a + and minus side. My adjustment of the center screw (just a smidge of a turn to the left) lowered the reading from a steady 1.4+ to 1.2 gives a little brighter cast to darker roasts--which was what I was after. I didn't touch the other screw.
Now I guess I'm asking for "Temp. Regulators 102" What's the side screw for? How do the 2 work together? What questions should I really be asking? Thanks, Martin

A subject dear to the heart of all seeking good espresso. Sure makes the SL90 and superautomatics sound like winners.. Maybe someone with an opinion on these products could comment on their other advantages & flaws..
