LOL... yeah, Bassett was soused for sure... but he was still showing class of the bar on the shots last night.
And before anyone complains... I'm making absolutely no apologies for the raised finger salute photos, so don't even bother ;) it captured the moments, for sure (it was all good though ;)).

Awesome pics, Mark. I'd personally like to see a few more of the vintage machines. Did you get to play with any of the old ones? It'd be interesting to see if a great shot could be gotten out of them.

Hey Mark,
Lookin like a great time already!! Wish I could have been drinking some of the shots being pulled. You always know how to incorporate a good alround feel for these kind of events so I'll leave subject matter up to you. I do like to read on everyones shot philosophy and why it suits their needs better than another technique or theories(example-Paul Basset and his overdosing technique) Barista set-up are always fun to scope out as well as sig drinks. Say Hi to all the baristas out their and GO PHUONG and SAMMY!!

Haha ... PB has a few coffee programs in Australia where he uses a Sunbeam (el-cheapo domestic machine that he was hired to advertise). He doses the baskets until they're level with the top! Nice to see that the same applies to REAL toys!
Carl using the MD 80. Classic. But were the gold chains still draped about it?

Oh, "raised finger salute", was that what it was?? I thought it was some new levelling technique! No wonder the customers looked at me kinda strange when I tried it at the store today! ;^)
