Bill Fishbein, the founder and current Executive Director of Coffee Kids, tells us how he got into the coffee business, and how his love for coffee turned into a love and respect for those who suffer most from the bean.

Information, awareness of the coffee crisis gained from traditional print media to the internet generated a feeling of basically guilt/shame/frustration in this home roaster & coffee consumer. It is through CoffeeKids that I deal with these "feelings". As long as I can afford to drink coffee I will support CoffeeKids. Thank-you Mr. Fishbein for your efforts.

Bill, Thanks for telling us your personal story and for letting us actively participate in your mission!
The feeling that I have is that Coffee Kids is not a charity that supports the weak, but one that allows the coffee growers to strengthen and develop themselves. They are the ones who are making change. All the best!

Dear Bill,
Your story based on this quote "If you change one person, you change the world" has impressed me so much that I will mention it on my 2 sites in hope to generate more donations for your wonderful non profit organisation.
